The objective was to modernise the client’s 70m² patio area with a durable, low-maintenance, and aesthetically pleasing surface that would elevate their garden.
Preparation and Installation

Leveraging his decades of experience in construction and landscaping, Craig prepared the patio base using a compacted crushed stone sub-base, followed by a 30mm base mix, ensuring a stable and level foundation for the resin bound surface.
Once the base was completed to the highest standard, the SureSet installation team took over, applying their premium resin bound paving system. The chosen aggregate blend, 6mm Barley Butter, is a warm, natural mix that complements both modern and traditional garden designs. The resin was laid at a depth of 16mm, providing a durable, permeable surface ideal for residential outdoor living spaces.
