Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School, Poplar

In September 2014 our super skilled Installation Team finished an amazing colourful six-day project at  in Poplar, London.

The new school was formed following the merger of Our Lady Catholic Primary School and Holy Family Catholic Primary School, who between them provided more than 165 years of primary education in the area.

SureSet was specified to recreate the colourful logo at the new school entrance.  The inspiration behind the logo, designed by , was local history and a longstanding Catholic presence in Poplar.   The design is so intricate it took three days just to lay the 130m of edging needed just for the outline!

The 11 colours chosen for the logo came from our Spectrum® range of recycled glass that we colour in house.   We decided to develop our own method of colouring glass after experiencing problems of consistency with the coloured recycled glass we were buying in – this would ensure we met our commitment to installing high quality products and providing a high level of customer service.

Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School now has a stunning new logo.

The colours are perfect for primary school children; providing a smooth, safe, hard wearing surface in colours that will last and last.
