Peter Watts Founder

I started SureSet in 1996 as a partnership & we became a limited company in 1997. I’ve done every role in the company in the past. As Founder of the company, I chair a weekly meeting of the Directors and try to steer the company on a profitable course. I was an asphalt technologist, who at one stage was Technical Manager for Foster Yeoman’s, the big quarrying company based in the Mendips.

Kevin Weston CEO

I started in 1999 in partnership with Peter Watts. I have been the Technical Director as well as directing the Operations and Commercial departments. My role at SureSet is overseeing the work of other the Directors, Contributing to board decisions, Strategy and implementing company policies. My background is not completely different, I previously worked in the quality control and product development of a large company/asphalt supplier for many years.

Diane Crowther Finance & HR Director

I started on the 26th July 2005 in the Accounts Department inputting data, Our then bookkeeper left and I was trained up to cover all aspects of the accounts department. In 2009 I also took on HR for the Company and became Company Secretary. We employed some part time help within the accounts department to enable me to take on the additional roles. In 2010 I was asked to be a Company Director. I now oversee the finance, HR, Admin and QA departments as well as still being Company Secretary.

Ben Shave Commercial Director

I Joined Sureset 15 years ago, September 2004. My previous roles in the company have been, Commercial and Operations Director, materials buyer, My current role is overseeing all technical aspects of our product including R&D and product testing. Before SureSet I worked as a Greenkeeper for 5yrs. Previously to being a Greenkeeper I worked in a quarry dealing with specialised aggregates.

Matt Coath Commercial Director

I started out at SureSet in 2011 as a Materials Coordinator in the Operations Team,I progressed onto Head of WareHouse then becoming the Head of our Technical Department, I have since been given the Operations Director Mantle. My this role within this Department is to oversee the running and also improve our performance. I originally came from the Motor Industry/Engineering.

James Newton Commercial Director

I have been involved with resin bound paving since leaving school and have worked in almost all parts of the business. I started making samples in 1997 to now I am the Commercial Director overseeing the sales and marketing activities. I have managed the warehouse and onsite operations despatching and installing tens of thousands of square meters of resin bound paving a year to the high standards set by ourselves. I have been the Technical Director and introduced new products such as the SureCell base layer, SureSet’s colour coated glass, Spectrum, and PourOn. As you can see I have great interest and experience in Resin Bound Paving and I have installed and managed installations and sales all over the UK and Australia as well as projects in Amsterdam, New Zealand and UAE, I have a lot passion for resin bound paving and any project I have completed I always walk away with pride and a smile on my face. Resin Bound Paving has become a huge part of my life and this industry not only creates wonderful looking and hard wearing surfaces for all kinds of applications, but also creates an opportunity to create a permeable SUDS compliant surface which reduces surface run off, reduces pollutants into our soils and waterways but also helps reduce flooding, which is fast becoming an regular problem in the UK.

From progressing position to Sales Team Leader (2004-2010) to her most current and desired role as, Head of Marketing, Yvonne has gained years of industry and technical knowledge for a product, which is far from boring! Her strong passion for design and being a natural creative, shows within her achievements over the past 15 years.

Joni Withers Head of Trade Marketing

I started in September 2008 as a Sales Advisor, Moving to Marketing and International Sales Manager then onto Global Sales and Marketing. My role is varied, Whilst concentrating on growing our brand awareness worldwide, and supporting our Global Partners, I also deal with enquiries and quotes for new projects. Before SureSet i worked in an Estate Agents in Bradford on Avon doing both Sales and Marketing.

Hugh Haines Head of Trade Sales

I started originally back in 2012, and my positions have been Business Development Coordinator, Head of Business Development, Project Planner, Head of Operations and Warehouse, Head of Global & Trade Sales. I love my role at SureSet. I get to deal with our expanding group of Global Partners and customers, helping them realise the benefits of using resin bound paving in their projects. As well as that, I head up the newly formed Trade Team who deal with enquiries for our Supply Only Trade products. It allows me to have a varied workload and deal with a range of different customers! I have previously worked in a few Sales and Customer facing roles, in both Construction and IT, as well as spending some time working in Education supporting teenagers during their time at college. On the side, I used to do a bit of door work, which sometimes has transferable skills to every working day ?

Dave Shell Head of Commercial Sales

I joined SureSet in 2012 as an Office Administrator, Since then i have moved onwards and upwards and i am now the Head of the Technical Department. The technical team provide technical services to both internal and external customers. Services include; technical advice to internal and external customers, QA of all incoming and outgoing materials and a series of in house and external testing. We also have an ongoing R&D programme which designs and tests new product ranges. We also have an ongoing improvement initiative to ensure SureSet is the best it can be. Previous to SureSeti spent 33 years in the communications industry.

Anna Miller Head of Warehouse

I joined Sureset in November 2017 as a projects Planner in the Operations Department, moving on to the role of Operations Office Manager and have now been made Head of Operations. My role in the Operations department is to assist the Operations Director in the running of the department. My previous role of 6 years was within the Woodburning Stove and Commercial Chimney Industry.

Hayley Salmon Head of Technical

I joined SureSet 14 Years ago. I have worked in most of the departments here, from Project Coordinator, Marketing Assistant , Technical Coordinator to my current position Head of the Warehouse Department. My job role is to oversee the running of the department, Making sure that orders are completed on time, whilst adhering to a strict quality standard. Production of our recycled colour coated glass, Resin batching and DIY/Trade packs are ready for dispatch.

Josie Newton Head of Finance

I've been with the company since april 2019, and started in the role of Accounts Office Manager. My role has since changed and i have now been made Head of Finance. My main role is to support Diane with the financial and HR side of the business, and manage the Finance Department. My background is in Retail management and Area Management but moved into a more HR based focus with training in a CPD, Im now working on further accounting training.

Jacqui Anslow Key Account Controller

I joined the company in September 2008 as a Regional Sales Manager, my role has since evolved in the Key Account Controller.Integral part of the SureSet Sales team. My role in sales is to provide general sales support, advice, estimates and order processing for all our SureSet Approved Installers. To maintain good communications, customer service and relationships with our Approved Installers and all initial customer enquiries. I've had many roles before joining SureSet. Secretary/PA, then Sales Advisor for a Stationary company before becoming an Estate Agent for 16 years. So have an administration, customer service and sales background.

Nick Pitcher Network Sales Manager

I started in June 2018, so have been here 1 1/2 years and started out as the Sales Administrator. My job role at SureSet is Network Sales Manager the point of contact for our Approved Installers. Before joining SureSet i had a variety of Sales Roles including Chemist Retail, Advertising, Cable TV and Furniture.

I have been working here at these wonderful premises for 2.5 years and started as Site Inspector after a 2 week stint as Resin Distribution Technician in the Warehouse. As Business Development Manager I seek to promote the product profile of the company, but have a distinct focus on explaining the economic and quality benefits of ProResin to Resin Bound Installers. I do come from a Sales and Events background, which has helped me (avoid the nuthouse) immensely.

I joined the company in march 2018, and started as Sales Administrator and then picked up Regional Sales Manager. My role at SureSet is providing Supply & Install estimates to companies and residential properties for areas up to 300m², then processing the sale to hand over to the operations team. I have always worked in customer service but was originally in a supermarket and then for Capita as a candidate Support.

Graham Morgan Site Inspector

My length of service is 8 Months and I started in 2019, I hadn’t worked at Sureset prior to April this year.My Job Title is Site Inspector, which involves going out on Pre-installation visits, confirming the square meterage of installations, carry out dip testing to ensure the areas are prepared to our specifications and that installation information is gathered, recorded and shared, this includes preparation of Construction Phase Plans and preparing site plans. I have undertaken the Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme in order to enable me to monitor installation teams and ensure they are working within the Sureset codes of practice. I did 26 ½ years working for the MOD in several roles before working for 8 years in the construction industry.

Anne Shave Marketing Media Coordinator

I joined SureSet in March 2017, as the Laboratory Technician, moving on to a position in the Marketing Team as Marketing Media Coordinator. My role is primarily to manage all of the residential social media, writing blogs and case studies about our products and services. I've had a varied carrier, I studied Fashion and Textiles at degree level, have been a Branch Manager for Clinton Cards for many years, and also worked at Longleat and Centre Parks.

Kristy Mills Sales Ledger Manager

I've been with the company for 11 years, starting in 2008. I started as the Credit Control Manager and have now changed to the Sales Ledger Manager. The main aspects of my job role are Accounts, Invoicing & Credit Control. My previous job role was in Insurance and Accounts.

Tina Lusty Purchase Ledge Manager

I joined the accounts department at SureSet in 2009, my main main role is as the company's Purchase Ledger (I spend all the money). I started my working life as a hairdresser then worked for 10 years in a school kitchen.

Emma Dutton Finance Administrator

I started in May 2006 as a sales Coordinator, then Moved to Marketing as head of the Department, Changing to Senior Sales Coordinator and then Head of Sales. At the moment i am QA, Environmental and Office Manager on Secondment for Maternity cover,going back to Accounts Administrator when that finishes. I have pretty much always worked in the construction industry, previously working for Hanson Aggregates as Sales Coordinator.

Josh Crowder Materials Coordinator

I've been with the company on and off since 2012, but i have been full time since june 2019. I've worked in most departments except for Technical and Sales. My job role within the company is to order all the aggregate and organise the haliage for the materials leaving for sites. Something completely different, I have a degree in Geography, but this is my first full time role, previously i was a Sandwich Artiste.

Harry Gardiner Warehouse Operative

I started at SureSet about 16 months ago. My main tasks in the warehouse are making sure orders are packed and loaded correctly for our customers. Bagging and sorting vitail stock, also batching up our resin for orders. My background before here was in the building industry as a bricklayer and I also worked for Gripit.
