This Christmas we decided to support Wiltshire boy Alexander Vinson who, aged two, was diagnosed with a rare atypical teratoid/rhabdoid (ATRT) brain tumour in July this year.

Unfortunately the specialist proton beam therapy treatment that he needs is not available here and Alexander’s family cannot afford the £150,000 it will cost to take him to America for treatment.

The charity Kids ‘n’ Cancer stepped in to help raise the money needed to fund Alexander’s treatment and so far generous supporters have raised £135,000. But the fundraising campaign ends on 1 December and they still need £15,000.

Inspired by the bravery of Alexander, and other children like him, we tasked our ‘sample maker’ with creating some Christmas Stars to celebrate every #LittleStar.

Our donation is on its way to Alexander’s Appeal, now it’s over to you…

Please share this #LittleStar on social media. By doing so, you are raising awareness of ATRT and raising funds for Alexander’s treatment.
