Let me (Diane) welcome you to the team within the Finance and HR department at SureSet.
Diane Crowther – Finance & HR Director
I have been at SureSet for 9 years and I run the Finance and HR departments alongside the Health & Safety and Office Admin. I am also Company secretary so I wear a lot of different hats at work! When I am not at work I am usually running around after my nearly grown up son as ‘mums taxi service’ or I am walking round the fields with my 2 dogs. I enjoy socialising with friends at the weekend – any excuse for a glass or two!! Having just bought my own house I am now going to give decorating a go….. wish me luck!
Tina Lusty – Accounts Assistant
Tina has been with us now for 5 years and mainly works on the purchase ledger side of the accounts, inputting the purchase invoices onto the system, bank reconciliation, prep work for the monthly accounts, CIS, VAT and so on.
Tina likes to grow her own vegetables and keeps an allotment not far from the offices, where she spends many an afternoon throughout the summer months. Tina enjoys spending time with her family and friends but most of all Tina enjoys wine…… red, white, rose…… any kind of wine……… although she is trying to cut down!!
Tina spends most of her time, when not working, helping out with her grandchildren who she loves spending time with.
Kristy Mills – Credit Controller
Kristy has also been with us 5 years and she works alongside Tina but mainly on the sales ledger side, raising invoices, chasing debts in, prep work for the monthly accounts.
Kristy is into martial arts ( which is obviously why we use her for credit control!!! ) she is a black belt in karate, a blue belt in kickboxing and she regularly trains and enters competitions. She does have a softer side though, she likes animals and fish, she has numerous tanks at home with all sorts of different types of fish – she has even got Tina into breeding fish now! I can barely keep a goldfish alive so it is quite impressive.
Kristy spends most of her time, when not working, whizzing about here there and everywhere taking either herself or her children to clubs.
Steve Cutting – HSE Administrator
Steve has been with us for 1 year and initially came in to do Office Administration but has moved on to Health & Safety, ensuring we keep up to date with any legal requirements and making sure that we all work in the safest possible way.
Steve is interested in a mixture of things from conspiracy theories to politics, economics and law. He does have a fun side too and enjoys being outdoors at music festivals and sports such as motor sports and kayaking… let’s hope he completes a risk assessment first!!!
Lauren Gardiner – Office Administrator
Lauren has been with SureSet for 9 years and has recently joined our team after returning from maternity leave. She was previously our Sales Manager but decided that she wanted a part time role when she returned to work as she now has her hands full with an active 1 year old. She looks after all the general office administration and has just got us ISO accreditation!
Lauren enjoys trips to the theatre, especially to watch musicals. She enjoys shopping with the girls, and spending quality time with family and friends. Lauren is a bit ditzy at times ( most of the time! ) and she would be the first to admit this!
