What a great way to represent the 100 day count down to the Olympic Games opening celebrations, using 20,000 plants and permeable spectrum resin bound glass to re-create the Olympic rings at Kew Gardens. The design will be seen clearly by the world and especially be visible from the Heathrow flight path.

The full story of the unveiling was covered on the BBC website

Our Spectrum range offered the client use of any colour from the RAL chart enabling them to blend the 10 areas of resin bound recycled glass with the colours of plants and flowers which were planted.

The 3mm Spectrum colours Signal Black, Light Blue, Zinc Yellow, Traffic Red and Mint Green were installed by our specialist team and provide access between the rings to ensure the required maintenance can be given to uphold this truly remarkable design.
