Landscape and Garden Designers, Darren Rudge and Helen Wood “Spiced up” their Stand with SureSet permeable resin bound paving at this years’ BBC Gardeners World Live.

Darren was specifically requested by The Royal Horticultural Society to create a ‘Spice Garden’. The Garden features a boat, representing how spices have travelled and impacted on our multicultural societies, and a tropical canopy under planted with spices. Darren approached SureSet to help create the look of a beach running between the boat and canopy, saying:

“We had used SureSet set on a previous show garden and found it to be a fast and efficient method of paving an area, plus being very relevant to the project we were undertaking. The other reason we chose SureSet was the staff and customer care; after a day’s rain this year at BBC Gardeners World Live I asked SureSet to put back the installation. Their response was to turn up at the initial agreed time and help with the garden build and then give a product demonstration to my students! Well done SureSet – a fabulous product, and thanks for the service.”

SureSet’s Installation Team successfully completed a “First Rate” 15m² pathway of 6mm Maple permeable resin bound paving to compliment the Garden’s nautical theme.

The ‘Spice Garden’ can be found at Stand RH55, where on Thursday 12 June at 9.30am, local Michelin Starred chef Glynn Purnell will be cooking selected recipes based on the spices in Darren’s garden.
