Staff changes in our Operations Team

If Spring is the time for new growth and fresh beginnings, then our Operations Team must be feeling like new born lambs!

We have recently initiated some exciting changes to our Ops Team who, from May, will look like this:

The Team is headed up by Rachel Parkinson, our Head of Operations. Reporting to Rachel are Allan Davies and Stephen Davies (no relation!) our Site Inspectors and Head of Operations | Rachel ParkinsonNathanial (Nat) D’Arcy, our Installation Manager.

Nat joined SureSet in 2014 as a Project Co-ordinator with ‘little to no’ experience of the construction industry. He then progressed to the role of Project Manager and was recently promoted to Installation Manager. Not only is this a reflection on Nat’s commitment to learning new skills, but also the importance SureSet place on staff development.

Reporting to Nat, are our Installation Operatives: Robson Lloyd, Neil Harrow and Mikey Gregory.  Installation Manager | Nathanial D'Arcy

From our Wiltshire head office - juggling the weather, transport, deliveries, suppliers, customer expectations and much more - are our three Project Managers: Hugh Haines (yes Hugh is back!), Kate Pugh and Laura Hewett. And last, but not least is we have Oliver Gee, our Projects Coordinator.

The role of our Ops Team…
Once an order has been placed they plan all the logistics involved in organising the installation including a pre-install visit, ensuring stock is delivered on site and on time and that the projects goes as smoothly as possible for our customers.

They take care to arrange the installation around a period of at least four hours of dry weather; allowing freshly laid SureSet permeable paving the opportunity to cure and harden before any chance of rain.

SureSet recommends a curing time of 24 hours for pedestrian traffic and 48 hours for vehicular traffic.

During and after installation Installation Operatives work tidily and with respect to you and neighbouring properties. They protect adjacent areas to minimise the risk of resin contamination and take their rubbish when they leave.

Oh, and they always have biscuits in their office!

You can meet all SureSet Staff here (those who have completed a probationary period).
